Weather and excessive speed are being considered as the cause of a bus accident on Christmas morning on the outskirts of Saltillo that killed 7 and left 23 injured.
The coach, operated by Transportes Del Norte was traveling from Monterrey to Guanajuato when the accident occurred aorund 08:50 in the morning in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe.
Investigators with the Federal Police are looking into whether excessive speed combined with wet roads at the time of the crash were contributing causes to the fatal accident. Buses in Mexico are generally governed at 95 kph or 55 mph.
